Welcome to Partnerships for Greener Horizons!

Partnerships for Greener Horizons is a long term matchmaking platform aimed at supporting the cooperation between and with Romanian-Icelandic-Norwegian from a  commercial, technological and research point of view.  

It is open for clusters, SMEs, RDI organisations and other innovation actors interested in starting and deepening the Romanian-Icelandic - Norwegian  cooperation. Other international organisaitons are welcome. 

The initiative is part of the the project "Synergies for Greener European Horizons" supported in the frame of EEA and Norwegian Financial Mechanism (2014-2021) - Open Call for Bilateral Cooperation in the Green Transition Romania and Norway, Iceland or Lichtenstein - Fund for Bilateral Relations - SMEs Growth Romania jointly implemented by the Romanian Cluster Association - CLUSTERO,  the Icelandic Centre for Research - RANNIS and Innovation Performance AS Norway. 

The general objective of the project is to enhance cluster-based Romanian – Norwegian -Icelandic cooperation in the field of green transition by making use of all available bilateral and European support mechanisms.

The project encompasses following phases:

- Romanian cluster visit to Iceland, 16-19 September 2024

- Norwegian & Icelandc Cluster Visit to Romania, 28 October - 1 November 2024

- Long-term matchmaking event, 15 November 2024 - 31 January 2025

- Project Generation Seminar in Oslo, 28-29 January 2025.

Most promising project initiatives and their promoters will be invitied  to attend the Project Generation Seminar in Oslo.
